Facelift and Neck Lift

This patient was seen for concerns of facial aging changes that she felt made her appear tired and older than her actual age. She wanted a subtle, but effective rejuvenation that made her look refreshed, without anyone knowing she has undergone a cosmetic procedure. After evaluating the patient's facial features and surgical goals, a facelift and neck lift was recommend to help address her concerns.

The surgery was performed in our NYC office using local anesthesia with mild sedation to ensure her comfort throughout the procedure. The incisions were carefully and discreetly placed curving around the ears, extending into the hairline behind the ears, as well as in the skin crease under the chin. The underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened, establishing a youthful contour and eliminating neck skin laxity.

The facelift and neck lift procedure resulted in a noticeably more sculpted jawline, defined profile and reduction in facial wrinkles. Note the improvement of the skin quality in her postoperative photos. The outcome is a natural-looking rejuvenation, giving the patient the youthful, revitalized appearance she was hoping for.
