Facelift and Neck Lift with Upper Blepharoplasty

This patient came to us seeking facial rejuvenation for her sagging neck skin and jowls. Her main complaint was the facial aging in the lower part of the face that made her appear older than her actual age. In addition, the eyelids appeared droopy which further contributed to an overall fatigued look. 

A facelift and neck lift along with upper blepharoplasty was performed on this patient in our NYC office using local anesthesia with mild sedation. The incisions were carefully and discreetly placed around the ears, extending into the hairline behind the ears, as well as in the skin crease under the chin. The underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened. Excess fat and skin in the neck was removed. Upper blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) was performed to remove sagging skin from the upper eyelids.

The result of the facelift and neck lift procedure for this patient is an aesthetically pleasing contour of the neck and jawline. Her profile also looks notably more sculpted and defined. The upper blepharoplasty made the patient's eyes appear more open and awake. She looks youthful and revitalized.
