Facelift and Neck Lift

This patient presented to us with significant photo aging and was seeking to help to restore her youthful appearance. Her main concerns were noticeable hollowing of the cheeks and sagging skin in the face and neck. A personalized surgical plan was created after a thorough evaluation of the patient's facial features, skin texture and elasticity, and rejuvenation goals.

A facelift and neck lift was performed on this patient in our NYC office. Local anesthesia with mild sedation was administered to ensure her comfort throughout the procedure. The incisions were carefully placed curving around the ears, extending into the hairline behind the ears, as well as in the skin crease under the chin. The underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened and excess skin in the neck was removed.

For this patient, a facelift and neck lift was able to achieve a significant facial rejuvenation, restoring a defined contour of the neck and jawline. Note how her face appears fuller and more youthful, yet no fillers were added during the procedure.
