Facelift and Neck Lift

This patient was seen for concerns of facial aging changes that she felt made her appear tired and older than her actual age. Her main complaints were loss of neck contour and formation of jowls. After evaluating the patient's unique facial features and surgical goals, a facelift and neck lift was recommend to help address her concerns.

The surgery was performed in our NYC office using local anesthesia with mild sedation to ensure her comfort throughout the procedure. The incisions were carefully and discreetly placed curving around the ears, extending into the hairline behind the ears, as well as in the skin crease under the chin. The underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened, establishing a youthful contour.

The facelift and neck lift procedure resulted in a noticeably sculpted jawline and defined profile. Note the improvement of the skin quality in her postoperative photos even though no skin resurfacing was performed. The outcome is a natural-looking rejuvenation, giving the patient the youthful, revitalized appearance she was hoping for.
