Facelift and Neck Lift with Upper Blepharoplasty

This patient presented to us looking to restore her youthful appearance. She developed jowls, loss of jawline definition and neck skin laxity. She also felt that her eyes looked tired and contributed to an overall aging appearance. An individualized surgical plan for this patient included a facelift and neck lift along with upper blepharoplasty.

The surgery was performed in our NYC office using local anesthesia with mild sedation to ensure her comfort throughout the procedure. The incisions were discreetly placed around the ears, extending into the hairline behind the ears, as well as in the skin crease under the chin. The underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened, removing loose skin under the chin and establishing a youthful contour. Upper blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) helped remove sagging skin from the upper eyelids.   

The result of the facelift and neck lift facial was a restored facial contour and an overall rejuvenated appearance. The lower part of the face looks smoother, lifted and defined. The upper blepharoplasty procedure made the eyes look more open, awake and refreshed.
