Male Facelift and Neck Lift

This male patient came to us interested in facial rejuvenation to restore a more youthful appearance. He has developed significant soft tissue laxity in his jawline and neck that contributed to an overall tired, aged look. He felt he was finally ready for a long-lasting, surgical solution to correct these aging changes.

A facelift and neck lift was performed in our NYC office using local anesthesia with mild sedation to ensure the comfort of the patient throughout the procedure. The incisions were discreetly placed around the ears and behind the hairline. For the neck lift, an incision was placed in the skin crease under the chin. The deep layers of facial tissue, underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened and loose skin and excess fat was removed. 

For this patient, the facelift and neck lift was able to reverse the aging changes in the lower face for a significant rejuvenation. A strong jawline and a smooth, defined neck contour was achieved. The outcome is a natural-looking, revitalized appearance he was hoping for.
