Facial rejuvenation expert on the red carpet? Plastic surgeon to the stars? We’re in the next decade now, and the question on everyone’s mind here at the office is who will be the surgeon to make it inside the Oscars gift bag this year?
This will be the 18th year in a row that the Oscar nominees will receive a gift bag filled with tons of incredible perks. Last year the contents of the gift bag amounted to $100,000 in total value, and we have no reason to assume the pot will be any less impressive at this year’s upcoming awards show.
If you’re anything like Dr. Konstantin, you’re probably a huge fan of the big screen. And if there’s anything that was great about 2019, it was definitely the cinema. It’s almost as if there wasn’t a bad movie made last year (with the exception of Cats, of course, and maybe the new Star Wars, but we’re not here to argue with J.J. Abrams’ fans) and it looks as though the Academy has its work cut out for it in 2020. When you have The Irishman, Joker, Little Women, and Marriage Story all in the same category, how could anyone predict who will win Best Picture? If you ask us, the “must-see” film of the year would have to be Parasite, but we’re not movie critics, we’re just facial rejuvenation experts with a penchant for aesthetics and beautiful films. But seriously, that movie is absolutely stunning—and they’re not paying us to say that! Although they should. (Can anyone put us in contact with Bong Joon-ho?)
More than any other nominee, however, the announcement we’re most excited for is that of our very own Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich.
