This patient presented to us seeking help to address her facial aging concerns. Her main complaints were laxity in the neck area and visible jowling that contributed to an overall aged look. She wanted to regain a more defined and sculpted facial profile to feel more comfortable and confident with her appearance.

An individualized surgical plan for this patient included a facelift and neck lift. The surgery was performed in our NYC office using local anesthesia with mild sedation to ensure her comfort throughout the procedure. The incisions were discreetly placed around the ears, extending into the hairline behind the ears, as well as in the skin crease under the chin. The underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened and excess skin was removed.

For this patient, the facelift and neck lift resulted in a smooth facial contour and significant reduction of peri-oral wrinkles. Her profile looks lifted and defined. The procedure was able to eliminate her noticeable jowls and for an overall youthful, refreshed rejuvenation.
