This patient presented to us interested to improve the look of her neck skin laxity and jowls. She wanted to regain a youthful, refreshed appearance, without anyone knowing she has undergone a cosmetic procedure. After evaluating the patient’s facial features and surgical goals, a facelift and neck lift was recommend to help address her concerns.

The surgery was performed on this patient in our NYC office. Local anesthesia with mild sedation was administered to ensure her comfort throughout the procedure. The incisions were carefully placed around the ears, extending into the hairline behind the ears, as well as in the skin crease under the chin. The underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened.

For this patient, the facelift and neck lift resulted in significant rejuvenation, restoring contour of the neck and jawline and getting rid of noticeable jowling. Her facial appearance was further enhanced by elevation of the mid-face. Note how the procedure was able to remove small wrinkles and smooth out deep lines.
