This patient recently had a facelift with another doctor. However, she was dissatisfied with the lack of improvement in the neck area. She came to see us seeking help to correct and improve the look of noticeable laxity under her chin. After a thorough facial analysis and discussion of aesthetic goals, a personalized surgical plan was developed to address her concerns.

A secondary facelift and neck lift procedure was performed in our NYC office, utilizing local anesthesia with mild sedation to ensure patient comfort. The incisions were discreetly placed curving around the ears and behind the hairline. For the neck lift, an incision was placed in the skin crease under the chin. During the procedure, the underlying muscle (SMAS) was lifted and tightened, removing excess skin in the neck and restoring a defined contour.

For this patient, the secondary facelift and neck lift surgery was able to achieve a comprehensive and effective facial rejuvenation the patient was looking for. The skin laxity under the chin was removed and youthful neck contour restored for a natural-looking result.
