Male Facelift and Neck Lift

This male patient presented to us with visible signs of facial aging and wanted to regain a more youthful look. He has developed loss of jawline definition and extensive sagging in the neck, which contributed to an aged appearance. After a thorough assessment of the patient’s facial features and surgery goals, a facelift and extended neck lift was recommended to address his concerns.

The surgical procedure was performed on this patient in our NYC office using local anesthesia with mild sedation. The incisions were carefully placed curving around the ears and behind the hairline. For the neck lift, an incision was placed in the skin crease under the chin. The deep layers of facial tissue, underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened and excess fat and loose neck skin was removed. 

For this patient, the facelift and neck lift surgery was able to restore an aesthetically pleasing neck contour. The jawline looks smoother and more defined. The outcome is a significant, natural-looking rejuvenation, giving the patient the refreshed, youthful look he was seeking.
