Male and Face and Neck Lift Case #69

This male patient presented to us with significant face and neck skin laxity. He has developed deep wrinkles, loss of jawline contour and extensive sagging in the neck, which all contributed to an overall aged facial appearance. A comprehensive surgical plan for this patient included a facelift and neck lift to address his concerns.

The surgery was performed in our NYC office using local anesthesia with mild sedation to ensure the comfort of the patient throughout the procedure. The incisions were carefully placed curving around the ears and behind the hairline. For the neck lift, an incision was placed in the skin crease under the chin. The deep layers of facial tissue, underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened and excess fat and loose skin was removed.

The facelift and neck lift surgery was able to achieve an effective and natural-looking transformation for this patient. The procedure reversed the aging changes in the lower face, creating a pleasing neck contour, a crisp jawline and smooth skin appearance. He looks more youthful and revitalized.
