Male and Face and Neck Lift Case #70

This male patient presented to us seeking facial rejuvenation. He was particularly concerned with significant jowling and loose skin in the neck. His main goals were to have a more sculpted jawline and an overall more revitalized appearance. An individualized surgical plan for this patient included a facelift and neck lift.

The surgery was performed in our NYC office using local anesthesia with mild sedation to ensure the comfort of the patient throughout the procedure. The incisions were discteetly placed curving around the ears and behind the hairline. For the neck lift, an incision was placed in the skin crease under the chin. The deep layers of facial tissue, underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened. Excess fat and loose skin was removed.

For this patient, the facelift and neck lift was able to reverse the aging changes in the lower face for a significant rejuvenation. A strong jawline and a smooth, defined neck contour was achieved. The outcome is a natural-looking, revitalized appearance he was hoping for.
