This patient presented to us concerned with the loss of a smooth jawline and neck skin laxity. She was also bothered by visible signs of early jowling. Her primary goals were to regain her youthful facial contours, yet still look natural and without any signs a cosmetic procedure was performed. After a comprehensive evaluation, a surgical plan was developed to address her facial aging concerns.

A mini facelift and neck lift was performed on this patient in our NYC office. Local anesthesia with mild sedation was administered to ensure her comfort throughout the procedure. The incisions were carefully placed around the ears, extending into the hairline behind the ears, as well as in the skin crease under the chin. The underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened, removing excess skin in the neck.

For this patient, the mini facelift and neck lift procedure resulted in a subtle, yet effective rejuvenation. Note the restored contour of the neck and a noticeably smooth, defined jawline and profile. The outcome of the procedure is a natural-looking, youthful transformation.
