45 Years Old and Tired of What I See in the Mirror - New York I am less than 3 weeks post-op, but I can already see the difference. The cost of my surgery included upper blepharoplasty and IV sedation (which required additional anesthesiologist fees). Obviously I am still healing at this stage and I can't evaluate the final outcome for some time, but I have been pleased so far with the changes I do see already. I have always had a terrible jawline/chin area, even when I was younger and at a perfectly healthy weight. Approximately ten years ago I casually asked my ENT about the possibility of lipo on my neck area, and he quite bluntly told me that lipo wouldn't fix my problem and that I really needed a facelift. Not something you want to hear when you're in your mid-30s! So I waited until I was 45, and by that time, I had also noticed that my eyelids drooped and I looked so old and tired in pictures. The final straw broke when I was at a going-away party for a friend and realized that I was strategically avoiding everybody with a camera, particularly if they weren't taking head-on shots. At 45, nothing was going to improve without intervention, and I wasn't ready to spend the rest of my life hiding from cameras and feeling uncomfortable around people. I spent a lot of time on RS, reading everyone's reviews and trying to get an idea of what doctors in the area I wanted to interview. My doctor was the 2nd of three that I interviewed, and I had two consultations with him prior to making my decision. I was also able to speak to the anesthesiologist by phone prior to my surgery, and he helped put me at ease as well. Currently I still have some swelling, bruising, and numbness - all to be expected when you're less than 3 weeks out. But I finally have a only one chin! And my eyes appear much more open and rested now. I am looking forward to continued progress and healing, and anticipate that I will be very happy with the end result.
62 Year Old Seeking Facial Contour of Years Gone by - New York After running into a casual friend I had not seen in several years, I was amazed at her fresh, natural and significantly younger appearance. After my numerous compliments she offered to share the name of her surgeon and his contact information. I would not be disappointed. My procedure included a face and neck left with fat injections. I am four months postoperative and am very satisfied with my results. My appearance is absolutely natural and I look years younger. I consider Dr. Konstantin a skilled surgeon as well as an accomplished artist. my goal was to restore the youthfulness of my face so that I appeared rested and revived. My desire to restore my youthful jaw line as well as a more youthful facial contour was accomplished. My younger sister has been so impressed with my results that she has now scheduled a facelift with fat injections with Dr. Konstantin. She too is traveling across the country for The expertise of this fantastic doctor. I cannot imagine a surgical procedure that requires a greater amount of trust. I whole heartedly and without hesitation recommend Dr. Konstantin.
I underwent a face and neck lift 9 weeks ago and I am completely thrilled with the results. I asked to be natural and that is exactly what Dr. Konstantin gave me. Even my own family members have no idea I had surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Konstantin. I did the two hour surgery under local anesthesia and I walked out of the office feeling great. Recovery was quick and I was out and about in two weeks. His assistant Luba is caring and kind and is a wealth of information. Run don't walk to Dr. K's office.
Much Needed Neck Lift - New York, NY I went for consultations with Dr. Konstantin a few times and each time I asked for his advice, he very kindly nudged me in the direction of a neck life and slight jaw tightening suggesting nothing additional on a larger scale. I finally realized it was time and quite honestly it has taken at least a decade off my life. The procedure was an in and out one home the same day. Every necessary precaution was taken, there was huge follow up from his wonderful office assistant Luba -- who even walked me home the next day when I came in for the bandage changing. Both the care and result were first rate.

53 Years Old, but Looking Like 60! - New York, NY I had an excellent experience with Dr. Konstantin. He is knowledgeable, very nice, very gentle, and he did not push unnecessary procedures. I had Botox on my forehead, frown lines and crow's feet and I look great. I also has Restylane above my lips to help get rid of "smoker's wrinkles." I had heard that this was a painful area; however, Dr. Konstantin was so good and so gentle, I barely felt a thing. (His receptionist Luba is also very nice!) I highly recommend Dr. Konstantin. I will be returning to his office.
Refreshing Lift to my Face - New York I had a lower face/neck lift, with fat transfer, as an outpatient without general anesthesia. The procedure went well, and after 2 weeks I had no pain. After 2 months this was supplemented with some Botox and Juvederm for a "touch up" to my forehead and crows feet. It is now 3 months later and the scars are only faintly visible. People say I am looking well, but do not ask whether I have had anything done. I look about 7 years younger. I am very pleased that I did this!

Lower face & neck lift , 51 Years Old Wanting Her Firm Neck Line Back and Turkey Neck to Disappear !!! - New York, NY Hello !! Well my face has slowly started to melt and for the last two years i have been searching for the right doctor, been on this site many times , read so many reviews and looked at thousands of before and after pictures , I have decided to go with doctor Konstantin in Upper East Side, his work is very natural and all his reviews are fantastic. Now , I feel calmer and better about it ...I just have to put a mirror underneath my jawline to remind me why I am having this done in the first place. Hello ladies , so I am here in my rented apartment in beautiful New York , fridge all stocked up with liquids and soft foods, arnica near the bed , my prescriptions in my purse , my clothes laid down for the procedure , my zombie-like-state post -operation comfy clothes also all prepared ...very excited and positive .. Will keep you posted Hello ladies !!! Well it is done !! Behind me and it went very well , the whole procedure took 1 hour and half or more not too sure because of drugs but even though I was awake on valium so a bit sleepy with local anesthesia I did not feel any pain , sometimes discomfort from the numbing injections but that was the worst and that worst wasn' t a big deal at all. The doctor and his lovely surgery assistant made me feel very secured and at peace , I knew I was in good hands .Afterward Luba , his nice coordinator called me a car and I went back to my rented apartment and ate and took all my pills, keeping a record of that and then went to sleep for 4 hours sleeping a like a bear, a little discomfort from the sensation of tighness on my troat back of head and ears but nothing percocet could not take care of....today , which is the second day went to my second apointment to get the big mummy bandages off and to get ointment on my incisions and a smaller head bandage ...so all is well , I am taking it really easy eating soft food and drinking lots of liquids with a straw and surfing the internet .... Yes I saw my face and as I was expecting the worse , well it wasn' t that bad just very swollen as to be expected and bruises under my neck and a bit along the jaw line , really happy with the incisions ...got to wash my hair and get all the dry blood crusts ( i know discusting ) out of my hair ...also lost a couple of strands along the way ...I think the hardest part was putting back that head band gear thing after having put ointment on incisions, gauze kept falling down etc etc and my temper , yes i do have a temper was starting to flare up but I just looked at my balloon head in the miror and said to myself : You wanted this now be patient !! So looking forward to the unswelling , hiding in my apartment , getting a bit restless , looking at all those fabulous art shows to see while in NY can' t wait to do that and see the city ! Ok so the swelling is def going down ...last night looked like Ozzie Osbourne . I took a half shower , felt great, did the routine change head bandage and put ointment and decided i needed to go out ...which i did , for 15 minutes, i thought i was gonna take a long walk in my incognito outfit but just went around the corner to stock up on food ...boooooring food hahaha except for Hageen-Dazs , decided i needed a little treat !! My neck is purple red and yellow and is tight , face also numb on the sides and ears too but i can chew better and i can feel i am on the recovery road , seeing doctor Konstantin tomorrow just for a follow-up that he nicely offered since i am 10 minutes from his office ... Hello ladies , a little quick update with lovely yellow photos , I feel i am about to turn into Marge from the Simpsons, might even color my hair blue . Well ....very subtle changes ..bright mustard yellow turning into a deeper dijon mustard color....Did not sleep too well last night...not enough ...4 hours ....I stopped taking pain killers and I am not used to take so much medication .....so more rest for me today.....I am listening to my body very carefully . All this mustard talk is making me crave a hot-dog now ..... ALLELUIA !!! i AM GETTING THE SUTURES REMOVED THIS MORNING !! will post pictures later on today not wearing the head compression thing during the day is going to be heavenly 🙂 The doctor is very satisfied with the healing and his work and I am too...this morning I feel and look so much better already ...the fact that I am not wearing the head bandage 24-7 really helps the swelling to go down..only wear it at night now...Now ladies , the only thing is, my skin is SUPER DRY ...any ladies here can recommand a good exfoliation product ...x Hello ladies , just an update , two weeks and I am feeling better and better , getting my energy back, the swelling is going down in my neck and under chin ( to be expected )am following doctors instructions , piano tapping gently on numbness , warm compress etc etc and keeping incision hydrated for better healing , wearing that head thing that i do not like at night and still sleeping with my head elevated .., hard to stay away from salt but trying....the left side is more swollen also the back of left ear not healing as fast as the right one but told this often happens...the doctor always answers all my questions of worries very quickly and I really appreciate it , beeing back home , the walk to his office now beeing a tad too long...hahaha ...Will post again at the one month mark. Hi ladies, 3 weeks post now...all the swelling now under chin on my neck a little pinkish too and lumpy ....besides that all is healing ok ...and happy. Well, the healing continues slowly.....my neck is still numb and swollen , the incisions lines are healing well, putting bio oil on them and behind ears vaseline petroleum , I stopped wearing the compression bandage last night will see how that results in the swelling .....still doing the warm compresses twice a day and light piano tapping ... Hi ladies ....Well everything is good, still a lot of swelling and since not wearing that head bandage at night i have developed a small pouch just under chin , it looks like a small double chin...The healing is still at the beginning phase and I find myself seeing some things dissepear and others appear , never a dull day, haha, besides that still the numbness and a bit of low blood pressure because of low intake of salt ( I am bordeline low-blood pressure naturally ) If anyone had or has that litlle pouch would appreciate feedback , Thanks x Just a reminder why i did this, still have the pouch , it eases up if i wear the head garment..... Hello ladies, things are at same point for now, still swollen on neck , a bit pinkish under chin , the jaw line not as sharp as lumps and swellling is still here but being patient and still happy ....:) Hello ladies, just back from vacations in the south ... O f course I was super careful and puts loads of sunscreen on my incisions , also always ( almost ) wore my hat ....I am very happy with my results, still a very small pouch ( residual swelling ) some vertical bands on neck when I lift my head ( doc says will take a while to go , but will , scarring tissues ) and still have that numb and hard feeling on neck , chin , side of face but I can feel it subside slowly ... Overall very happy with my results , keeping contact with doctor K who is giving me prompt feedback to any questions or concerns , I think he is also very happy with his work haha !! Still very happy , numbness slowly going away , some vertical bands on neck from scarring and healing .... Super happy !! Been told i look 35 twice lately....mmm...not sure about that but still , haha....great about those jowls and saggy neck being part of the past ... Had my facelift at 51 , am now 56 , could not be happier . So glad i did it . Still looking great after 5 years + , at the time it seemed a litle crazy to have this procedure but i knew i wanted to . Addressed all of my concerns before and after the procedure I'm Very happy with the outcome and will recommend this doctor to anyone . At 73 I looked very bad and Dr. Vasykevich performed an excellent neck and lower face lift setting me, well back about 10-15 yrs.! He is very calm, patient, explains to you everything and his office staff follows through by actively calling to see how is everything. Local anesthesia worked fine for me, no need for intravenous sedation. In 1 1/2 - 2 hours after surgery my husband took me home! Very pleased with the way I look after 3 mos.! Thanks Dr. Vasyukevich!
