Facelift and Neck Lift

This patient came to see us concerned with visible signs of early facial aging. She was especially unhappy with her sagging cheeks, formation of jowls and excess fat under the chin. Her primary goals were to regain her youthful facial contours, yet still look natural and without any signs a cosmetic procedure was performed. After a comprehensive evaluation, a surgical plan for this patient included a facelift and neck lift procedure. 

The surgery was performed on this patient in our NYC office. Local anesthesia with mild sedation was administered to ensure her comfort throughout the procedure. The incisions were carefully and discreetly placed curving around the ears, extending into the hairline behind the ears, as well as in the skin crease under the chin. During the surgery, the underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened.

For this patient, the facelift and neck lift procedure resulted in a subtle, yet effective rejuvenation. Note the restored contour of the neck and a noticeably smooth, defined jawline and profile. The outcome of the procedure is a natural-looking, youthful transformation.
