Facelift and Neck Lift

This patient presented to us seeking help to reverse visible signs of facial aging. She developed noticeable jowls, loss of jawline definition and neck skin laxity. On frontal view, these aging changes made her face lose its natural oval contour and appear more square in shape. A surgical plan was developed after a thorough evaluation of the patient's facial features, skin texture and elasticity, and rejuvenation goals.

A facelift and neck lift surgery was performed in our NYC office using local anesthesia with mild sedation to ensure her comfort throughout the procedure. The incisions were discreetly placed around the ears, extending into the hairline behind the ears, as well as in the skin crease under the chin. The underlying muscle (or SMAS) was lifted and tightened, removing loose skin under the chin.

The result of the facelift and neck lift was an aesthetically pleasing facial contour and an overall rejuvenated appearance. The procedure also helped restore the shape of the face by removing the jowls and tightening the sagging skin of the neck. The patient looks youthful and vibrant.
