Male Neck Lift

This male patient sought our help to reverse aging changes in the lower part of the face. He was particularly unhappy with the loose, sagging skin and extensive fullness in the neck. A surgical plan was developed after a thorough evaluation of the patient's facial features, skin texture and rejuvenation goals.

A neck lift procedure was performed on this patient in our NYC office under local anesthesia with mild sedation. The incisions were carefully and discreetly placed around the ears, extending into the hairline behind the ears, as well as in the skin crease under the chin. Sub-mental fat was extensively excised and underlying muscle (or SMAS) was tightened up in order to achieve the best definition of the neck contour.

For this patient, neck lift surgery was able to achieve a significant rejuvenation and restore a youthful appearance. The lower part of the face looks lifted and defined. The outcome is a smooth, more sculpted neck contour for this patient.
