The One Feature You Can Never Hide

Every other part of the body can be covered, styled, or changed with clothing. The face can't. That single fact is what pulled Dr. Konstantin toward facial plastic surgery specifically, and why he's spent eighteen years focused on nothing else. That focus has earned him a spot in Castle Connolly's Top Doctors guide, along with a reputation among patients and colleagues alike for results that read as rested rather than redone.

The Long Road to a Very Specific Skill

Before he ever touched a scalpel, Dr. Konstantin spent years earning degrees in biological sciences at St. John's University, then a medical degree from Stony Brook. Every step after that narrowed further: general surgery, then a four-year otolaryngology residency at Montefiore, tied to Albert Einstein College of Medicine. From there, a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Mount Sinai, one of the most competitive programs in the country. He still teaches at Einstein today as Assistant Clinical Professor, training the next generation the same way he was trained.

The Credentials Behind the Artistry

Two board certifications back up the artistry: one in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, one in otolaryngology. Both are the same credentials that hospital review boards and insurance panels look for when vetting a surgeon's qualifications, not just marketing language.
