Unlike others of its kind, physicians cannot pay to be on Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors list, resulting in no conflict of interest. Nominees are submitted by their peers, who examine the nominee’s education, professional reputation, and most importantly, their contributions to the medical field and to the improvement of their patient’s lives. Only the most highly skilled, empathic, and clinically advanced doctors are eligible to appear in the database. Additionally, the screening process is rigorous, incorporating new criteria each year as the medical field evolves.

Out of the 55,000 doctors nominated this year, only a few were hand-picked to be added to the database. And of the approximately 1,100 plastic surgeons in New York City, only 34 are listed on Castle Connolly Top Doctors 2024 – including Dr. Konstantin. This is the 10th year in a row that Dr. Konstantin has been on Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors list, a huge accomplishment.
Inclusion in Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors is just one of Dr. Konstantin’s many accolades throughout the past 10 years. He has also been featured in the New York Metro Area’s guide to Top Doctors for the past 8 years and New York Magazine’s Top Doctors for the past 3 years.
